At our center, creativity and care come together in every activity. Colorful handcrafts we create reflects talent, collaboration, and inclusion. Each crafted object is an opportunity for the community to see our youth in a new light and to celebrate the value of every person.
We look for different tecniques and products to involve all our beneficiaries in hand made producing. It's very important for us that these products are well-made, technically precise and functional, and also beautiful. For this reason, we always look to combine professionalism with artistic flair.
Using a variety of techniques and tools, we create plaster objects, such as hand-painted magnets; resin objects, such as coasters and keychains featuring reproductions of pictures drawn in the art laboratory; wool objects - like scarves, neck warmers and hats - handmade with a circular loom; fabric objects, such as scented sachets, coin purses, and pencil cases. Then there's the entire costume jewelry section, as well as the production of decorative objects made from recycled paper and other constantly evolving experiments.
All the handcrafts are made by our beneficiaries, with the support of educators and volunteers.
